KOTA represents the needs of Occupational Therapy practitioners and students in the state of Kansas.

The mission of KOTA is to develop, promote and advance the profession of occupational therapy within our communities.

The objectives of the Association shall be:

  • Improve and advance the practice of occupational therapy
  • Improve and advance the education and qualifications of occupational therapists;
  • Maintain accepted standards of professional performance in occupational therapy;
  • Foster research and study of occupational therapy; and
  • Engage in other activities to further the dissemination of knowledge of the practice of occupational therapy.
