    Northeastern State University’s (NSU) College of Science and Health Professions, Department of Health Professions is seeking a committed program director to develop an innovative Master of Science of Occupational Therapy (MSOT) program on its Muskogee, Oklahoma campus. The MSOT Program Director will be a member of the faculty at the Associate or Full Professor Rank who also holds an academic, tenure track twelve month appointment as Director of the MSOT program. Responsibilities include: programmatic development and oversight; maintenance of accreditation; classroom instruction as appropriate; managing day-to-day program operations and the curriculum; coordinating and participating in student advising; and overseeing staffing the program with faculty (academic and clinical) who support the mission of the University and the AISHP. The Program Director is co-responsible with the faculty and the Department Chair for helping to maintain and grow enrollment. The MSOT Program Director will be responsible for ensuring the successful education of entry-level MSOT students, maintaining support for applicable faculty scholarship, and for meeting the requirements set forth by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) for an exceptionally high quality, nationally accredited program in Occupational Therapy.
